Solvera Selected as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies

Date: Feb 21, 2012

Regina – Regina-based Solvera Solutions is pleased to be among Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies announced today by program sponsors Deloitte, CIBC, Queen’s School of Business and National Post. Solvera joins an elite group of companies that have achieved the prestigious designation for 2011.

Managing Principal Jim Ostertag welcomed the news and applauded the rigour of the selection process. “We are excited to hear external validation from experts that we are on the right track towards building a great company. The regional and national evaluation panels thoroughly reviewed our corporate strategy, structure, business development and client care, people practices and even our community care program. Essentially, everything that has a material impact on our success and makes Solvera the kind of company it is.”

“Solvera is a success story that we in Saskatchewan are very proud of,” said Randy Jeworski, Saskatchewan Best Managed Program Regional Leader. “My Deloitte and CIBC colleagues and I have spent considerable time with the Solvera team over the past two years and our entire selection team was impressed with the company’s steady growth, commitment to clients and employees, and well-reasoned sustainability strategy.”

Award aside, Ostertag focused on the enduring value of the exercise to Solvera. “As we continue to grow and mature as an organization, there is great value for us in getting the perspective of a top-quality national advisory panel about our business plan, priorities, practices and culture. We continue to learn as an organization and will benefit from the feedback to make Solvera even stronger in the future.”
