Environment
In all three Solvera locations, steps are being taken to minimize our carbon footprint. Led by an employee-driven volunteer committee, some of the recent initiatives include the following:
- Monitoring and reporting head office power consumption
- Lighting offices, meeting rooms and hallways only when used
- Reducing overnight office temperature
- Recycling all recyclable materials
- Reducing travel in favour of virtual meetings, whenever possible
- Offering employee incentives to ride bikes, walk or use public transit to get to work
- Expressing a bias for electronic documents and distribution, wherever possible
